This Privacy Policy explains how DND Developers Rwanda (“DND”, “we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data across our websites, social media pages, lead forms, WhatsApp and phone communications, events, and offline interactions.

1. Who We Are

DND Developers Rwanda is the controller of personal data processed in connection with our real estate development and hospitality projects, including the Royal Golf View Apartment Hotel project.

2. Scope

This policy applies when you interact with us through:

  • Lead generation forms on platforms like LinkedIn and Meta
  • WhatsApp, phone calls, SMS, email, and our official social media profiles
  • Offline events and in-person visits

3. Legal Basis

We process personal data under Rwanda’s Law No. 058/2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and Privacy. Where visitors are located in the EU or UK, we also consider GDPR and UK GDPR bases such as consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.

4. Definitions

Personal data means information that identifies or can be linked to an identifiable person. Processing means any operation performed on personal data like collection, storage, use, disclosure, or deletion.

5. What We Collect

  • Identification and contact: name, email, phone number, preferred contact channel.
  • Lead and enquiry data: unit interests, budget range, message content, meeting or site-visit bookings.
  • Transaction and contract data: reservation details, invoices, payment confirmations as applicable.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser info, pages viewed, UTM and referral data, cookie IDs.
  • Communications: WhatsApp, SMS, call notes, and emails with us.
  • Marketing preferences: opt-in choices, unsubscribes, and campaign interactions.

We do not intentionally collect special category data. Please avoid sharing sensitive information in lead forms or messages.

6. How We Collect Data

  • Directly from you: when you complete a form, call us, message us, or visit our offices or show units.
  • Automatically: via cookies and similar tech on our sites and pages.
  • From third parties: ad and analytics partners, social platforms, and referral partners where lawful.

Prices are primarily displayed in RWF per current regulations. USD or other currency amounts are indicative. Final amounts, taxes, fees, payment schedules, and contract terms will be confirmed in official documents.

5. Intellectual Property

All content including text, photos, videos, graphics, and logos is owned by DND or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use it without our prior written consent.

6. Your Submissions

When you submit enquiries, comments, or materials, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them for the purpose of responding and improving our services. Do not submit illegal, defamatory, or infringing content.

7. Third-Party Links and Tools

8. Reservations and Sales

Any reservation, allocation, or sale is subject to eligibility checks, availability, due diligence, and execution of formal agreements. DND may decline or cancel a reservation if requirements are not met.

Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, DND will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of our sites or communications.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold DND harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the services.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to our sites or communications if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Courts in Kigali will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory alternative dispute resolution procedures required by law.
